Happy Birthday Metal Crush!

Today is the first anniversary of the deployment of the first Metal Crush's page. On the occasion of that recurrence we want to update on the work's progress status. At the moment the site looks outwardly the same as when this blog has been created. Internally however things went on, even if in a small measure because of many causes more or less independent from our will. The main development is that soon it will be ready the site's forum, that's near being ultimated. More than this, during this year, Metal Crush helped an U.S. Christian Metal Band to choose itself a name and designed its logo, it also collaborated on the web management of the official site of an Italian Christian Metal Band, it has then helped the diffusion of Christian Metal in Italy finding informations and spreading them in various ways (it had even started the italian translation of the Metal Bible but this thing ended in advance for causes independent from our will)

We will take advantage of this occasion even to thank one by one all the past and presents developers and friends of the site, all the ones who contributed during the time to its growing, someone with materials, someone with suggestions, someone with moral support, someone with trust, someone with prayers, someone with helpfulness, someone with friendship. We decided to list the names ordered randomly because each one, on its way, has been indispensable and irreplaceable for our work as well as the graphics and the developers, and in the same time nobody can boast of having done enough.
So thanks to a Henrik, Ville, Antonio, Rod, Simon, Daniele, David, Mark, Emanuele, Raleigh, Egidio, Stefano, Pavis, Dario, Paolo, Vito, Albert, Salvatore, Neil, Enrico and to everybody who we could have forgotten to quote, to everybody to may have helped us behind our back or simply considered us with liking. You are all in our heart!
Last but not least our greater thank goes to God, without whom nothing of that all would ever have been possible.

Buon compleanno Metal Crush!

Oggi cade il primo anniversario della "posa" della prima pagina di Metal Crush. In occasione di questa ricorrenza vogliamo aggiornare sullo stato dell'opera. Al momento il sito è esteriormente identico a quando è stato creato questo blog. Al suo interno però le cose sono andate avanti, anche se di poco per vari motivi più o meno indipendenti dalla nostra volontà. Lo sviluppo più sostanziale è che prossimamente sarà pronto il forum del sito, che è in fase di ultimazione. Oltre a ciò, nel corso di quest'anno, Metal Crush ha aiutato una band di metal cristiano statunitense a scegliersi un nome ed ha disegnato il suo logo, ha inoltre collaborato alla gestione del sito ufficiale di una band di metal cristiano italiana, ha poi aiutato la diffusione del metal cristiano in Italia reperendo informazioni e diffondendole in vari modi (aveva anche iniziato la traduzione in italiano della Metal Bible ma la cosa è terminata anticipatamente per cause indipendenti dalla nostra volontà).

Si vuole approfittare di quest'occasione anche per ringraziare uno per uno tutti gli sviluppatori e gli amici presenti e passati del sito, tutti coloro che hanno nel tempo contribuito al suo sviluppo, chi con materiale, chi con suggerimenti, chi con supporto morale, chi con la fiducia, chi con preghiere, chi con la disponibilità, chi con l'amicizia. Si è deciso di elencare i nomi in ordine causale perché ognuno, a proprio modo, è stato indispensabile ed insostituibile per nostro lavoro quanto i grafici e gli sviluppatori ed allo stesso tempo nessuno può vantarsi di aver fatto abbastanza.
Grazie quindi a Henrik, Ville, Antonio, Rod, Simon, Daniele, David, Mark, Emanuele, Raleigh, Egidio, Stefano, Pavis, Dario, Paolo, Vito, Albert, Salvatore, Neil, Enrico e a chiunque ci potremmo essere dimenticati di citare, a chi ci abbia aiutati a nostra insaputa o ci ha semplicemente considerati con simpatia. Siete tutti nel nostro cuore!
Ultimo ma non meno importante il nostro più grande ringraziamento va a Dio, senza cui niente di tutto ciò sarebbe mai stato possibile.

Why this blog - brief introduction

This blog is born as momentary replacement of the site because for several reasons its development has been heavily delayed. This does not mean that in our projects this will replace it in a definitive way, but simply that it will be on its stead until the site will be ready and will join it after that. The main cause of this decision is far simple: if you wait to be able to say things in the best way you could end to never say them. More to this, there is the all but useful thing that afterward, having both site and blog, could become a benefit to the search-engines' indicization and enlarge the catchment area.

Perché questo blog - breve introduzione

Questo blog nasce come momentanea sostituzione del sito, dato che per vari motivi il suo sviluppo è stato pesantemente ritardato. Questo non vuol dire che nei nostri progetti sia destinato a sostituirlo in modo definitivo ma, semplicemente, che ne farà le veci mentre il sito non c'è e lo affiancherà in seguito. Il motivo di questa decisione è semplice: se si aspetta di poter dire le cose nel modo migliore si rischia di finire per non dirle mai. A questo si aggiunge il tutt'altro che indifferente fatto che in seguito potrà risultare un vantaggio ai fini dell'indicizzazione nei motori di ricerca e dell'allargamento del bacino di utenza l'avere sia un sito che un blog.
